JK Dobbins ankle injury

Ohio State running back JK Dobbins limped to the locker room with a left ankle injury early in the third quarter of Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl playoff game against Clemson.

Dobbins hurt his ankle in the second quarter and had it taped up for the second half. He was in the game for Ohio State’s first possession of the second half and ran a swing route in the backfield on a 1st-and-10. He went down despite not having any contact on the play:

Dobbins was a monster in the first half. He had nine carries for 142 yards and a touchdown prior to exiting. In the game, Dobbins surpassed Eddie George’s record for yardage in a season by an Ohio State running back.
