Kaelin Clay takes responsibility for loss after early celebration
Utah senior wide receiver Kaelin Clay took responsibility for his team’s loss against Oregon on Saturday. While he wasn’t the sole reason Utah lost, he certainly cost his team plenty.
Early in the second quarter, Clay caught a pass that he nearly turned into a 79-yard touchdown. The problem is he celebrated early and dropped the ball before crossing the goal line.
I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS GAME BY MY SELFISH ACTIONS…I'll take this one

The worst part was an Oregon player scooped the ball up and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown. Instead of Utah going up 14-0, the brain fart resulted in a 14-point swing and allowed the Ducks to even things at 7-7.
It’s amazing how many times we have seen players commit the same error as Clay. Just hang onto the damn ball.
