Kentucky Wildcats quarterback Nik Scalzo is remaining positive as he recovers from a torn ACL.
Scalzo is one of the stars of season 3 for “QB1: Beyond the Lights,” a documentary series on Netflix where three high school quarterback prospects are followed. The latest season was released on August 16, which has led viewers to wonder how the quarterbacks are doing in college. Sadly, Scalzo suffered a knee injury one day after the show came out. The torn ACL diagnosis was shared a few days later.
Though suffering a season-ending knee injury at a scrimmage is a terrible way to go down, Scalzo is remaining positive.

Scalzo is a freshman from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He quarterback Cardinal Gibbons to a 32-6 record during his three seasons as the high school’s starter and was rated as a three-star prospect. Oklahoma third-stringer Spencer Rattler and Maryland freshman Lance LeGendre are the two other quarterbacks on the show.
