While speaking with reporters on Wednesday, the Alabama football coach was asked about the election. He said he didn’t know Tuesday was Election Day.

Saban’s Tide are preparing for a game Saturday against Mississippi State, but surely he had to know the election was Tuesday. Even Tom Brady and Bill Belichick had time to talk about politics, and we know how focused both of them are. Maybe Saban just didn’t want to reveal his political opinions or leanings, and this was his way of deflecting the conversation.
