Oklahoma OL recruit runs a crazy fast 100 m sprint
On Friday, 4-star offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis officially announced his commitment to Oklahoma. He chose the Sooners over UCF, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M.
“Having good coaches around will help develop me and take me to the next level. Also, coach (Bill) Bedenbaugh has a great record of producing offensive linemen and I want to be one of those big-time offensive linemen,” Pierre-Louis told Rivals.com.
“Going into the SEC, too, that’s the best type of ball. I feel you get more recognition in the SEC, going against those type of defensive linemen.”
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Pierre-Louis is the fifth offensive line commit for Oklahoma in the 2024 recruiting class. His arrival also boosts the Sooners to No. 6 nationally in Rivals’ team rankings.
Pierre-Louis was the No. 1-rated guard in the country by Rivals, and for good reason. Not only does he have ideal size and strength, he’s also remarkably athletic. He runs a 12.97 100m at his current weight of 315 pounds, which is unheard of.
Eddy Pierre-Louis, ladies and gentlemen
The newest Oklahoma OL commit runs a 12.97 100M at 315 Pounds 🤯
Worth noting as well, his Bench Press would have been among the Top Group at the NFL Combine https://t.co/3AuR1jAiDB pic.twitter.com/yLf89r96vh

Imagine you’re an opposing defensive back and you see Pierre-Louis barreling toward you at those speeds on a pull? Good luck and no thank you.
“They run my type of scheme, for real,” Pierre-Louis said. “They run RPOs and pulls, and I love to run and I feel I show that a lot on film. Also with me running track, I’m more able to go get those defenders.”
There’s certainly going to be some bulldozer moments for Oklahoma in the near future.
