Baylor quarterback Seth Russell suffered a significant ankle injury on Saturday in rather gruesome fashion.
The school announced that Russell was diagnosed with a dislocated ankle and he was receiving an x-ray at the stadium. The injury happened at the tail end of a nine yard run against Oklahoma, when his leg got caught up in a tackle. Video is beneath the jump, but be warned, it is not for the faint of heart.
In one cool moment, a number of Oklahoma players came over and shook hands with Russell as the injured quarterback was about to be carted off the field.

Russell’s season ended prematurely last season too, albeit with a different injury. It unfortunately looks like his 2016 might suffer a similar fate.
