Son of 4-time NFL Pro Bowler announces his college commitment
The latest second-generation football star has announced his college choice.
Antonio Cromartie Jr., the son of former NFL Pro Bowler Antonio Cromartie, announced on social media this week that he has committed to Florida State. Cromartie Jr. is a member of the 2025 recruiting class and will thus be headed to play for the Seminoles and head coach Mike Norvell next season.

A cornerback just like his father was, Cromartie Jr. lists himself at 6-foot-0 and 170 pounds in his X bio. He is currently in his senior year at Carrollton High School in Georgia and runs track as well, specializing in the 100-meter and the 200-meter.
ESPN notes that Cromartie Jr. recorded 85 combined tackles with four forced fumbles and an interception this season for Carrollton. He also received offers from Southeast Missouri State, UT Martin, and Wofford.
As for the elder Cromartie, he played in the NFL from 2006-16, making four Pro Bowl squads plus earning a First Team All-Pro nod in 2007. Cromartie was often the butt of jokes during his NFL career for the number of children he fathered (he has 14 known kids in total). But now one of those children is headed to the ACC to try to help buoy a Florida State team that finished last in the conference this season at a dismal 2-10.
