Texas will be without offensive coordinator Tim Beck for their game at Kansas State on Saturday.
The school announced that Beck is being hospitalized with an infection.
Beck, who is in his second year as Texas’ offensive coordinator, missed the usual media availability during the week. Co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Herb Hand met with the media instead, according to Horns Illustrated.
The Longhorns have enjoyed offensive success this season under Beck. They are averaging 31.2 points per game this season, while facing some stout competition already in Maryland, Tulsa, USC and TCU.
Texas has not won in Manhattan since 2002 and will look to snap the streak.
