Aaron Donald exits Rams-Saints game with back injury
Aaron Donald exited Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams-New Orleans Saints game with a back injury suffered early in the first half.
The two-time Defensive Player of the Year got hurt going after Teddy Bridgewater on a third down conversion (according to FOX) and exited the game. FOX later showed the 5-time Pro Bowler heading into the locker room and said he had a back injury.
However, another video showed Donald grabbing his lower back after a play towards the end of the first quarter.
Here's the play where Aaron Donald got injured.

Donald had made an impact on the game to that point. He made contact with Drew Brees in the first quarter and left the Saints quarterback with a thumb injury.
Donald had a career-high 20.5 sacks last season and led the league with 25 tackles for a loss. He’s one of the most dominant defensive players in the league, and any time he misses is serious. He was listed as questionable to return.
