The Chicago Bears appear to be the winners of the Allen Robinson sweepstakes.
Robinson will sign with the Bears when free agency begins on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Robinson tore his ACL in the first game of the season last year and will be recovering from knee surgery. He was a second-round pick by the Jaguars in 2014 and broke out in 2015 with 80 catches for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. He had 73 catches for 883 yards and six touchdowns in 2016.
A previous report said the team was targeting Sammy Watkins, but signing Robinson would take them out of the running for the Rams receiver.
