Bengals were not happy with Terrelle Pryor for sharing practice videos

Terrelle Pryor

Terrelle Pryor committed a major no-no after being cut by the Cincinnati Bengals.

No, it wasn’t that he trashed the organization on his way out the door. Nor did he steal a playbook and sell all the secrets to a rival (although he may have). What the Bengals are upset about is that the quarterback-turned-wide receiver posted practice videos on social media.

ESPN’s Coley Harvey reports that the Bengals were not happy with Pryor for posting three separate videos to Twitter of himself throwing passing at the team’s minicamp. While media is permitted to attend minicamp, they are not allowed to record videos of practice, yet here was Pryor putting it all out there for his followers.

The videos were removed from Pryor’s account around an hour after he posted them, indicated he probably heard from the team.

Pryor fell to fourth on the quarterback depth chart for the Bengals behind Andy Dalton, A.J. McCarron and Josh Johnson. The Bengals released him so he would have a chance to catch on with another team. Pryor was claimed off waivers by the Browns, for whom he will attempt to play wide receiver.
