Cowboys longsnapper LP Ladouceur costs team with snap infraction
Just when you thought the ending in the Baltimore-New Orleans game was wild, what happened between Washington and Dallas might have topped it.
The Cowboys were settling in for a 47-yard field goal attempt with three seconds left when long snapper LP Ladouceur was called for a snap infraction. He appeared to pick up the ball twice for positioning before finally snapping it.

The penalty pushed Dallas back five yards, setting Brett Maher up for a 52-yard attempt. He hooked the kick and it hit the upright, falling no good. Due to the ball’s late hook action, many thought it might have been good from 47 yards.
Dallas drops to 3-4 with the loss, while Washington improves to 4-2, keeping them in first in the NFC East.
