Cowboys moving La’el Collins to right tackle?
The Dallas Cowboys’ vaunted offensive line appears to be undergoing a renovation this offseason.
David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports on Sunday that the Cowboys are working offensive lineman La’el Collins at right tackle instead of left guard during their offseason program and have told him to be ready for that slot.
La'el Collins has been working at RT, not LG, during offseason program. Collins said coaches told him to get ready for that spot.

Though he appeared in only three games for the Cowboys last season, the 23-year-old Collins has been at left guard for the first two years of his NFL career. But incumbent right tackle Doug Free announced his retirement in March and fellow offensive lineman Ronald Leary also defected to the Denver Broncos in free agency this offseason, perhaps necessitating the change.
For what it’s worth, Collins spent a large portion of his college career at LSU as a tackle. If he can continue to provide highlight-reel plays at his new position while former first-rounder Jonathan Cooper steps up at guard perhaps, hopefully Dallas will maintain their usual O-line dominance.
