Davante Adams reportedly has 2 teams at top of his wish list
Davante Adams has requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, and the star wide receiver is reportedly looking to reunite with one of his former quarterbacks.
Adams has the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints at or near the top of his wish list, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday.
Two teams high on Davante Adams’ wishlist of places to land – if not at the very top – are the Jets and Saints, per league sources.

Adams and Rodgers played together for eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers from 2014-2021. Adams made the Pro Bowl for five consecutive years during that span, and he and Rodgers were one of the best quarterback/wide receiver duos in the NFL. Despite that, Adams forced his way out of Green Bay following the 2021 season in large part because he wanted to play with his former college teammate, Derek Carr.
Carr and Adams were teammates at Fresno State from 2011-2013 and remained close friends. The two then played together with the Raiders in 2022, and Adams got another Pro Bowl nod that year. Las Vegas then moved on from Carr after the season, and Adams has since indicated that he regrets forcing the trade.
It is unclear if the Saints have interest in Adams, as they already have a top receiver in Chris Olave and an emerging deep threat in Rashid Shaheed. The Raiders have also attached a fairly steep asking price to Adams.
There were reports last season that the Jets were determined to find a way to acquire Adams. Rodgers also seems to want a reunion with his former teammate, which is hardly a surprise. It sounds like that desire is mutual.
