DeAngelo Williams: Only Tom Brady likes Bill Belichick
Bill Belichick is notorious for having the public reputation of being a heel, but the thinking is that he’s at least well liked by his own players. One opponent believes that is not the case.
DeAngelo Williams, formerly of the Carolina Panthers and now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, held a Q&A for his fans on Twitter Monday. One fan suggested Williams sign with the Patriots and come play running back for New England. Williams nixed the idea because he’s not interested in playing for Belichick.
From what I'm told only tom Brady likes the head coach so no thank u I'm happy where I am https://t.co/WILRq6FbSu

Is there a hint of bad blood between Williams and the Pats? It seems so. He later answered another question by implying the Patriots have asterisks attached to some of their accomplishments.
Yeah all earned the hard way no Astris beside any of the wins or losses either https://t.co/U4FZTcWrsA

The Steelers are rivals with the Patriots, so that might be the source of the bad blood. It also makes you question how accurate they are. Belichick reportedly does not rip into his players and treats them all like adults. And it’s clear that Williams hasn’t spoken with former Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis, who was surprisingly complimentary of Belichick in these comments.
