Dez Bryant, Browns not expected to reach deal on Thursday
Dez Bryant and the Cleveland Browns are not expected to reach a deal on Thursday, according to a report.
Bryant was in Cleveland Thursday to visit with the Browns, who could use a big-time playmaker at receiver. He even brought his agent to the visit, suggesting he is serious about signing a deal. However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter says that no deal is expected to be reached on Thursday.
No Dez Bryant-Cleveland Browns deal expected tonight, per source. The two sides will continue talking and “will know more tomorrow.”

Bryant, 29, remains a free agent even as we enter the second wave of games in the preseason. According to Bryant, that is by design. He has been most closely linked with the Browns throughout the offseason.
Bryant had 69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season for the Dallas Cowboys. He’s had three straight down seasons by his standard, but he would be expected to perform well in Cleveland with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback.
