The Cleveland Browns said they were planning to fine offensive lineman Donald Stephenson after he did not show up for mandatory minicamp, and that will not be the only money he has to cough up leading up to and at the start of the regular season.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Stephenson has been suspended two games for violating the NFL’s drug policy on substances of abuse, which typically means recreational drugs.

In addition to missing minicamp, Stephenson did not show up for any of Cleveland’s voluntary organized team activities. The former third-round pick signed a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the team this offseason.
