Eli Manning claims his brother Peyton has not told him whether Super Bowl 50 will be his final game, but the Giants quarterback has a feeling retirement could be very close for No. 18.
While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Eli said he believes Peyton could “possibly” be planning to retire after the big game.
But Eli Manning said "I see this as possibly being (Peyton's) last game. … It would be a good way to go out."

The outcome of the game could play a large role in Peyton’s decision. If the Broncos lose, he might feel that he has enough left in the tank to make one more run next season. If Denver beats the Panthers, what more does he have to play for?
Win or lose, Eli doesn’t think his big brother’s legacy should be affected.
Eli on Peyton: "I hope he can win, but his impact has already been made and his legacy shouldn’t be affected by this one game."

That’s kind of Eli to say, but Peyton badly needs this second ring to silence those who claim he chokes in the postseason. Having a second Super Bowl would take him from the best regular season quarterback of all time to a guy who was able to get it done more than once on the biggest stage.
The exchange Peyton had with Bill Belichick after the AFC Championship Game (video here) made it seem like he expects Super Bowl 50 to be his final contest. He could wind up changing his mind, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the HGH allegations — and the way Manning’s wife has been dragged into them — have had an impact.
