Gareon Conley says he is ‘good to go’ after neck injury scare
Gareon Conley provided the best update of all regarding his status.
Conley sent a tweet on Tuesday saying he is “good to go” despite hurting his neck in the Oakland Raiders’ win over the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
Thank you to everybody who had me in their thoughts and prayers.. I hurt my neck nothing severe and it was just protocol to get me on a stretcher and get imaging to make sure everything was ok make sure it didn’t go down my spine or anything.. I’m good to go God Bless you all

The third-year defensive back was inadvertently hit in the head by a teammate who was making a tackle on Royce Freeman. Conley immediately grabbed his head and was immobilized and placed on a stretcher. Though he gave a thumbs up, the length of time the medical staff handled him led to concerns that the matter was serious.
Conley had previously shared a positive update about his status on Instagram, but this makes it seem like he may even be able to play in Week 2.
