Brissett’s injury will require further testing to determine the severity. Subsequently, it’s far too soon to determine how much time he’ll miss, if any.
Brissett went down early in the second quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The Colts nearly won without him, which is encouraging.
In his first seven starts this season, Brissett had thrown for 14 touchdowns and just three interceptions, positioning the Colts in the AFC South lead until Sunday’s defeat.
