Report: Janoris Jenkins headed to Giants on $62 million deal
One of the top free agents on the market has been given a significant payday as cornerback Janoris Jenkins is reportedly set to go to the New York Giants for five years and $62.5 million.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the deal, with Fox Sports’s Mike Garafolo reporting the sum of guaranteed money.
When Giants finalize deal for former Rams CB Janoris Jenkins, it's expected to be for five-years, $62.5 million, per source.

Mentioned ~$30m fully guaranteed for Janoris Jenkins. It's $29m, to be exact. $40m first three years. $62.5m over 5 total.

That is a huge sum of guaranteed money, and the deal overall makes him one of the highest-paid corners in the game. While Jenkins is talented, the former Ram is vulnerable to getting burned on big plays. That said, this seems to be the going rate on top talent this offseason.
With that kind of money, Jenkins and his significant other can buy some seriously flashy swimwear now.
