Jarrett Stidham, Brian Hoyer using each other as centers during workouts
The relationship between the members of the New England Patriots quarterback room appears to be blossoming quite nicely.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer have built a solid dynamic despite their competition for the team’s quarterback job. At one recent workout, no center was present, so Stidham and Hoyer took turns snapping the ball to each other.
This illustrates how well the two quarterbacks are getting along. While Stidham appears to be the early favorite to win the job, Hoyer is nothing but supportive during these informal workouts.
Stidham is showing some very good leadership qualities already. It certainly doesn’t seem like he’s hurting his chances to win the job, and he’s probably impressing his teammates as well.
