Who knew St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher was the type of guy who will kick a man while he’s down?
Before Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, Fisher sent a very special collection of players out to midfield for the coin toss. The group of six was comprised of Janoris Jenkins, Michael Brockers, Zac Stacy, Stedman Bailey, Greg Robinson, and Alec Ogletree.
All six of the aforementioned players were acquired as a result of the draft day trade that allowed the Redskins to move up to No. 2 overall in the 2012 draft. As you know, Washington used that pick to draft Robert Griffin III. That trade hasn’t exactly worked out for the Redskins.
The Rams then went on to beat the Redskins 24-0.
Ouch.
