Jerry Jones still believes Jason Garrett will win Super Bowl with Cowboys
Jason Garrett has won just one playoff game despite being in his ninth season with the Dallas Cowboys, and there has been talk for several years now that he could be on the hot seat. However, Jerry Jones continues to throw cold water on that narrative.
The Cowboys need to play a lot better if they want to reach the postseason this year, but Jones does not see Garrett’s coaching as one of the team’s biggest issues.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "Jason Garrett is absolutely the real deal. There's no fraud in Jason Garrett. … Does he have some things he could do better? Of course. But what I think we have here is an asset that will get us to where we want to go, which is a championship."

Garrett made a controversial decision last week to punt the ball in overtime on 4th-and-1 with the Cowboys in Houston Texans’ territory. Dallas ended up losing the game, and Jones later said he felt it was “time for risks” at that point, meaning he would have liked to see Garrett go for it.
Despite that big decision not working out and despite what Las Vegas may think, Jones insists he is not considering making a coaching change. We’ve heard him say that for at least the past two seasons, so there’s no reason to doubt it.
