New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans, but it does not sound like it will force him to miss any time.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the ankle injury is not considered serious.
Patriots’ WR Julian Edelman’s ankle injury is not considered serious and he's not expected miss much, if any, time, per source. Edelman will be monitored, but outlook for now appears positive.

The timing of Edelman getting dinged up was probably ideal for the Patriots, as they are entering their bye week. They have already been without Rob Gronkowski for the past two games and looked lost on offense in Tennessee, so any absence for Edelman would be difficult to overcome.
Edelman issued a challenge to his Patriots teammates after Sunday’s poor performance, and that was a good indicator that he expects to be good to go when New England comes out of the bye.
