Justin Forsett’s exile from Baltimore looks like it may be short-lived.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Forsett is “likely” to return to the Ravens days after being a victim of the team’s final round of roster cuts.
It’s not clear why the Ravens elected to cut him in the first place only to pick him back up, but that appears to be exactly what’s going to happen. Florio doesn’t rule out the possibility of another team swooping in with an enticing offer to lure Forsett away from the Ravens for good, but he characterizes the scenario as “unlikely.”
Forsett was one of the more surprising roster cuts made in the NFL. He was, after all, projected to be Baltimore’s No. 1 back. Apparently, that may still end up being the case.
