Ravens C Matt Skura carted off with possible left leg injury

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens could not have gotten off to much better of a start in the first quarter of “Monday Night Football” against the Los Angeles Rams. The only thing that didn’t go their way was an injury.

Center Matt Skura appeared to injure his left leg while blocking on a 4th-and-1 play the Ravens converted prior to their second touchdown of the game. Skur was blocking straight ahead on the rushing play and Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers was blocked into him and landed on his left leg.

The undrafted free agent out of Duke had his left leg worked on by trainers and was taken away on a cart.

Patrick Mekari replaced Skura on the offensive line. Skura started all 16 games last season and had started all 10 this season prior to his injury.
