Report: Josh McDaniels becoming Patriots head coach a possibility

There was one heck of a sidestory going on during the Super Bowl.
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported on Twitter during the Super Bowl Sunday that some people aren’t ruling out Bill Belichick retiring after the game and Josh McDaniels getting the Patriots’ head coaching job.
Hey folks, there definitely are well-connected people in NFL circles who aren't ruling out a Belichick retirement and McDaniels getting the job.

Many reports have said McDaniels is expected to become the Indianapolis Colts’ head coach after the big game, but a report on Sunday said he hadn’t informed the Pats he will be leaving.
Recall that McDaniels, who previously had a brief stint as head coach of the Denver Broncos, was sought after last year as a head coach and turned down all interest. A report at the time said that he might bide his time until Belichick retires, so there could be some fire to this smoke.
