Ronald Darby taped to goal post, had water dumped on him at practice (Video)

Last week at Jets camp, rookie Lorenzo Mauldin returned to his locker to find it completely covered with tape. In that incident, Mauldin got away rather easily. At Bills camp, Ronald Darby’s rookie treatment was more along of the lines of what you would expect to see.

The Bills selected Darby in the second round of this year’s draft and he has reportedly looked good so far in practices. That said, he still has to go through the rite of passage and part of that process involved tape and cold water. After a recent practice teammates taped the cornerback to one of the goal posts and doused him with water.

Thankfully, his teammates helped to separate Darby from the post once this part of his initiation into the NFL was complete. As something to look forward to, Darby will be the one helping out in these situations a year from now, instead of being the victim.
