Stefon Diggs shares surprising stance on gambling and fantasy football

NFL players often get frustrated when fans lash out at them about gambling and fantasy football, but Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs seems to have a different mindset than that of his peers.

Diggs actually cares about people who have him on their fantasy teams and those who risk money on him and the Bills. On Monday, the Pro Bowl wide receiver shared his somewhat surprising stance on the topic.

I ain’t going lie. I do be feeling a lil bad when I f*** up yaw parlay… or fantasy

But trust me it ain’t cause I ain’t trying make dat mf hit for ya.. 😂😂

“I ain’t going lie. I do be feeling a lil bad when I f*** up yaw parlay … or fantasy,” Diggs wrote on X. “But trust me it ain’t cause I ain’t trying make dat mf hit for ya.”

Compare that with what Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson tweeted about fantasy football and gambling last week:

Boy Idgad About your Parlay or fantasies I’m trying to win ‼️ #GreatTeamWin #Truzz

— Lamar Jackson (@Lj_era8) October 15, 2023

Diggs has been a fantasy monster for several seasons now, and this year has been no different. He had a quiet game by his own standards in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, finishing with “just” 6 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. Diggs has 55 catches for 678 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season.

The Bills probably did ruin a lot of parlays on Sunday, however. They were a 7.5-point favorite over the Patriots. Not only did they fail to cover the spread, but they also lost outright. That means anyone who took them to cover the spread or with short odds on the moneyline would have lost their wager.

Diggs hates losing, which is why he sometimes draws criticism for the way he acts on the sideline. Apparently he hates losing for other people, too.
