Taco Charlton had been campaigning to force his way out of Dallas and finally got his wish.
The Cowboys on Wednesday waived Charlton, who went on social media to complain Monday and try to force his way out.
The 2017 first-round pick was a healthy scratch the first two weeks of the season and had very little role on the Cowboys. He had just four sacks in 27 games over his first two seasons.
Dallas was looking to trade Charlton before giving up on him, but with Robert Quinn returning to practice, the team decided to cut Charlton loose.
