Taylor Swift a big fan of Chiefs re-signing Mecole Hardman
Global superstar Taylor Swift appears to be keeping tabs on the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason moves.
Swift recently posted on Instagram expressing her approval of the Chiefs’ decision to bring back wide receiver Mecole Hardman. The 34-year-old singer commented on an Instagram livestream of Hardman’s girlfriend Chariah Gordon.
“CONGRATULATIONS … JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL … AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE,” Swift commented on Gordon’s livestream.

Gordon was livestreaming from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony, which Swift could not attend due to currently being on tour in Europe.
Someone handling Swift’s social media accounts may have been the one who made the comments instead of Swift herself. But regardless, Swift is clearly still going strong showing pride in her Chiefs fandom given her ongoing relationship with Travis Kelce.
Swift became the most high-profile football fan in the world this season. The “Tortured Poets Department” songwriter made several appearances during Chiefs games. It got to the point where some fans got annoyed at how often NFL broadcasts panned the camera over to Swift whenever the Chiefs made a big play.
Kansas City re-signed Hardman to a one-year contract earlier this month. The 26-year-old wideout scored the Super Bowl-winning touchdown that secured the Chiefs’ third title in the Patrick Mahomes era.
