Tax season is currently in full swing, and Terrell Owens still owes the government a lot of money.
According to TMZ, Owens was recently hit with another massive bill from the IRS. The 41-year-old’s financial problems — including tax money owed — have been well-documented. Apparently T.O. still owes $107,297.60 from federal income taxes in 2013.
Assuming the latest lien isn’t new debt, Owens appears to be chipping away. Federal documents showed that he owed nearly $250,000 last year. T.O.’s last NFL contract was with the Seattle Seahawks, but he made just $4,300 before being released before the season. Owens also reportedly paid off a $430,000 tax lien in 2013 that he had accumulated from 2005 to 2009.
Owens’ estranged wife Rachel Snider — whom he shared a solid several days of marriage with — said last year that she is going after alimony payments. Snider had previously accused T.O. of only marrying her so he could obtain a $2 million loan for a home purchase.
Less than two years ago, Owens was ordered to work at Goodwill after he missed child support payments. For a guy who made a ton of money during the height of his career, T.O. has had some serious problems with money.
