Thaddeus Moss seems like he has a chip on his shoulder about not being drafted.
Moss, who played tight end for the national champion LSU Tigers, went undrafted in April. He signed with the Redskins after the draft and spoke with the media Wednesday in an introductory video conference.
“It was definitely a slap in the face,” Moss said of not being drafted. “I put a lot of work in. We [LSU] went undefeated; I won a national championship. I played my best ball in our biggest game.”

Moss was particularly irked to see special teams players getting drafted ahead of him.
A Jones fracture was discovered in Moss’ foot at the combine, leading him to undergo surgery. The inability of teams to medically evaluate him before the draft led to uncertainty about his status and played a role in him not getting drafted.
Moss also said he chose to sign with Washington because they reached out to him first.
Thaddeus Moss says the Bengals and Patriots were also interested in signing him after the draft. He chose the Redskins because they called first.
