Rob Gronkowski appeared to lose focus on a couple of plays in Sunday night’s shootout between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. There where times when Tom Brady looked and sounded frustrated with his star tight end, but none of that mattered after a thrilling 43-40 victory.
On one play in particular late in the second quarter, Brady was heard on the telecast shouting at Gronk to stand up out of his stance. The Patriots ended up calling a timeout before snapping the ball.

Brady obviously caught wind that microphones picked up the orders he had to bark at Gronkowski, and he made light of it with an Instagram post after the game.
“Gronk, you can line up however you want if you keep stiff-arming people like that,” Brady said.
As you can see from Brady’s video, Gronkowski had a huge stiff-arm after catching a pass late in the fourth quarter. It helped set up a field goal to give the Patriots a 40-33 lead at the time.
Gronk has been battling an injury for much of the season, so it’s hard to say if that has limited his effectiveness on some plays. He was a non-factor for most of Sunday’s game, but he still showed how dominant he can be when the Patriots needed him down the stretch.
