Hue Jackson was embarrassed early on Sunday as his new team quickly fell behind his old one.
The Cleveland Browns jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead over the Cincinnati Bengals, and it was as one-sided as the score makes it look. Of particular note was Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield, who completed 9-of-11 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown as the Cincinnati defense — coached by Jackson — offered little resistance.
Naturally, Twitter had a field day with this.
What must it be like for Hue Jackson to watch the Browns absolutely torch his Bengals defense?

Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb, benched by Hue Jackson to start the season, are currently lighting up Hue Jackson's Bengals.
Hee Hee.

Bengals defensive holding 3rd penalty of the game. On pace for 12…sounds about right for a Hue Jackson coached team…

Baker Mayfield probably going to get Hue Jackson fired from Cincinnatti, too. All-time Hall of Fame move, imho.

Much of the commentary came from Cleveland, where there is no love lost toward Jackson after he went just 3-36-1 with the organization. If the Bengals hired Jackson for the reasons one Browns player speculated, it’s not working out so far.
