The Indianapolis Colts issued an apology to Tyreek Hill on Thursday after they poked fun at him in their schedule release video, but it does not sound like the Miami Dolphins star was offended.
With the Colts and Dolphins opening their 2025 season against each other, one of the first scenes in Indy’s schedule release video showed a dolphin in a Hill jersey being arrested by the U.S. Coast Guard. The Colts quickly deleted the video, but not before it was preserved on social media.
On Thursday, the Colts issued a statement saying they removed the Minecraft-themed video because it “exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip” about Hill.
“We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek,” the statement read.
Hill did not feel the apology was necessary. He shared the video himself via X and said he found it funny.
“Should’ve left it up @Colts this was funny,” Hill wrote.

Hill was pulled over by police while driving to the Dolphins’ first game of the season last year. He reportedly got into a verbal altercation with an officer during the stop, which led to the wide receiver being handcuffed on the ground. You can see a video here.

Hill made light of the arrest with a touchdown celebration just hours after he was handcuffed, so it makes sense that he was not offended.
