Watch: Vernon Butler ejected for punching Jack Doyle, flips off Colts fans
For the second time this season, a player was ejected on Sunday for throwing a cheap shot at Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle.
Carolina Panthers defensive lineman Vernon Butler got tangled up with a Colts offensive lineman and fell to the ground. Doyle landed on him during the scuffle, which apparently enraged Butler. He punched Doyle square in the face while the tight end was down on the ground, and he then flipped off Colts fans on his way off the field.

Earlier this season, Doyle was on the receiving end of a vicious head shot from Vontaze Burfict. The play resulted in Burfict being suspended for the remainder of the year.
Butler will be facing a fine at the very least, and he could very well be suspended.
