‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestants were wildly clueless about Travis, Jason Kelce

A puzzle featuring Travis and Jason Kelce

Two of the most famous brothers on the planet right now are still not quite known to everyone.

Brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, the former a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and the latter a now-retired ex-offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, were featured in a “Wheel of Fortune” puzzle this week. The puzzle ran during a celebrity episode of the popular game show that aired Monday.

Unfortunately though, the contestants (actresses Krysten Ritter and Sarah Levy plus fashion designer Christian Siriano) did not have much of a clue who the Kelce brothers were. During Ritter’s turn, she had almost all the letters of the puzzle in place already. But instead of solving, Ritter just continued to guess letters one by one until the puzzle was complete.

Ritter admitted that she did not know who the brothers were and even pronounced their last name as “Kels.” It eventually clicked for Levy, who said that she only knew who the Kelces were because of Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. Siriano then let out an “Ohhhhh” after hearing the Swift name-drop.

Here is the video.

Travis is a pop-culture mainstay right now thanks to his relationship with the music superstar Swift, and his older brother Jason isn’t doing too bad for himself either having recently landed a major job working in the media. Travis has also won the last two Super Bowls (the most-watched TV event of the year), and one of those Super Bowl appearances came against Jason.

Still, that did not help the Kelces much with those contestants on “Wheel of Fortune.” Those contestants were probably even more clueless about sports than some of the “Jeopardy!” contestants we have seen over the years.
