The top FOX Sports executive linked to the scandal involving Joy Taylor has been fired by the network.
Charlie Dixon, the subject of two assault lawsuits, has been let go by the network. He had previously served as executive vice president of content at FOX Sports 1.
In a statement sent to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, FOX provided few details, but confirmed that Dixon was no longer with the company.

“Charlie Dixon is no longer with Fox Sports,” the statement said. “There is no further comment at this time.”
Dixon’s attorney, John Ly, told The Athletic that FOX said Dixon was let go for “violating company policy” over an unrelated hiring process. Ly said Dixon had cooperated fully with the network’s investigation and denied that Dixon had engaged in any inappropriate conduct.
Dixon had been named in two lawsuits, and was linked to FS1 host Joy Taylor in both of them. In one, Dixon was accused by a former FS1 hairstylist of grabbing her buttocks at a birthday party. A second lawsuit was filed by former FOX television personality Julie Stewart-Binks in which she claimed Dixon invited her to a hotel room and then held her down and tried to forcibly kiss her.
Both lawsuits accused Dixon of having an affair with Taylor, and Taylor was named as a subject in one of the suits. Dixon was placed on leave in February as a result of the allegations, while Taylor was briefly sidelined by the network before returning to her regular duties in early March.
FOX is still dealing with both lawsuits, though a recent report suggested that the network was working toward negotiating a settlement with one of the plaintiffs.
