Joe Buck responds to porn site that offered him $1 million to do play-by-play
Joe Buck is out of work for the time being like millions of other Americans, but the legendary broadcaster was recently offered a gig that would pay him seven figures while we wait for sports to make their return. Shockingly, the FOX play-by-play man has turned it down.
ImLive, an adult webcam company, announced this week that it has created a special section on its website where sports broadcasters can provide live play-by-play commentary for blind and visually impaired users. In order to kick off the program, the site has offered Buck up to $1 million if he does work for them. Buck said he is “flattered” but turned down the offer on Friday with a hilarious tweet.
Depending on the site they could just be handing some of my money back to me. So I’ll hold out for a better offer and try to hold on to my day job. But I have to say I’m flattered. https://t.co/wBgkwnHyrA

Other national and local sports commentators have also been encouraged to apply, but it must sting for ImLive that Buck is out.
All joking aside, the website knew Buck wasn’t going to take that offer. These types of “offers” are made all the time, and they’re usually for publicity. In fact, Buck said he has already been asked to do commentary for a number of inappropriate acts during the coronavirus quarantine, but it sounds like he’s going to stick to more family-friendly content.
