Cameroon’s Alex Song was given a red card and sent off in the first half of his country’s Group A World Cup match with Croatia Wednesday after officials saw him strike an opponent.
Song appeared to elbow Croatia’s Mario Mandzukic in the back, sending him to the ground. Mandzukic definitely embellished as is tradition, and his acting was enough to get Song sent off.
