Twitter reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible start to World Cup
Portugal got out to an early leads in their match against Morocco on Wednesday, and we’ll give you one guess as to who it was that got them on the board.
Less than four minutes into the match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored on a beautiful header.

That goal was Ronaldo’s fourth of the World Cup, which is incredible considering it came so early in just Portugal’s second match of the tournament. He scored a hat trick in a draw against Spain last week, including this incredible free kick to tie the score late in the match. Ronaldo’s latest goal made him the highest-scoring European player in history, and Twitter was buzzing over it.

Ronaldo has already heard some criticism in this World Cup over his style of play, but there’s no denying his ability to shine on the biggest stage. He could probably win the Golden Boot without scoring a single goal the rest of the tournament.
