Alijah Arenas only just turned 18 years old, but he is already getting busy with endorsement agreements.
Alijah, the son of retired former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, spoke this week with TMZ Sports. During the interview, Alijah revealed that he will be signing an endorsement deal with Adidas.
Gilbert, now 43 years old, was notably represented by Adidas during his playing career as well, even receiving his own signature shoe called the Adidas Gil Zero. The partnership eventually came to an end though when Adidas dropped Gilbert following his notorious 2009 gun incident as a member of the Washington Wizards.

As for Alijah, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, he has plenty of talent of his own. He averaged 30.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game this season for Chatsworth High School in California. Also a McDonald’s All-American this year, Alijah reclassified to the 2025 recruiting class several months ago and will thus be headed to college later this year and become eligible for the NBA Draft in 2026.
A couple of months ago, Alijah announced that he was headed to a top university in Southern California to play his college ball. Alijah chose them over other heavy hitters like Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas, and Arizona.
Before Alijah even steps foot on a college campus though, he will have a deal with a big-time endorser in Adidas to work with. The apparel and footwear giant recently handed out their first-ever lifetime contract to an NBA athlete and will now be adding Alijah to their roster of talent as well.
