JR Smith has experienced a rebirth since being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he made sure to rub his success with his new team in the face of his old team after advancing to the Eastern Conference finals.
Smith, who along with Iman Shumpert was traded to the Cavs by the Knicks in January, shared the meme you see above on Instagram following his team’s series-clinching win in Game 6.
“Couldn’t have said it better myself!!!” Smith said as his caption for the meme, while also tagging Shumpert.
Ever since being traded to Cleveland, Smith has been complimentary of his new home and raved about how well it suits him. He has also slighted the Knicks a few times since leaving the organization. It’s pretty safe to say he is just loving his new squad.
