Van Gundy did everything in his power to try and stem the tide of the Sixers. He called time outs and instructed his team. However, he could not go out and play for them. I do wonder why they didn't get Howard the ball more often in the final five minutes. He was something like 11-13 for the game. He had the ball stolen from him at around the six minute mark and then he was never again a factor on offense.

I guess, LB, as you've often pointed out, a team that lives by the three point field goal often dies by the three poiter. Orlando went stone cold in the fourth quarter in spite of getting some good looks.

I do not want to get into the Yao vs. Howard debate, but I would love to see a center with Yao's offensive skills and Howard's defensive skills and ability to run the court. That guy would indeed be a monster.

I prefer Yao to Dwight, by a mile. Yao is an asset at the end of games with his FT shooting, he gets to the line and makes 'em. can't say the same for Dwight.

I will give Dwight props for being a defensive monster, but even Dwight cannot beat Yao one on one right now.
