Broncos fan’s obituary says he hated Peyton Manning and ‘wanted out’ before signing was completed
Nothing screams sports fanatic quite like an angry obituary. This one comes from the Columbia Tribune in Missouri about a big-time Broncos fan who died Monday.
James H. “Jim” Driver, 78, of Eagle, Colo., formerly of Columbia, Mo., passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at South Hampton Place in Columbia after a brief illness. An avid Broncos fan, he abhorred Manning and evidently wanted out before a deal was done.
It seems like some editorializing was going on by the person who wrote the obituary, but who’s to say the Peyton Manning news didn’t help push Mr. Driver out the door? I guess the world may never find out. Hey, at least this obituary wasn’t as nasty as the anti-Joe Mauer one from last September.
