Chad Ochocinco Banned from Twitter After Lost Madden Bet, Uses Fiancee’s Account

Chad Ochocinco is addicted to Twitter.  If you didn’t know that from reading some of his ridiculous tweets over the past couple years, you know it now.

As you may have heard, Ochocinco has not tweeted from his personal Twitter account since Sept. 24.  Many have speculated that Bill Belichick put a stop to his antics, but that is not the case.  We told you last week that Ochocinco stopped tweeting after losing a bet. Now we know what the bet was.

After hacking into his fiancee’s Twitter account, Ochocinco revealed that he lost a bet playing Madden.  Here’s what he wrote from fiancee Evelyn Lozada’s account:

In other words, the guy literally can’t go three weeks without tweeting.  At first I thought Tedy Bruschi was being ridiculous when he went off on Ochocinco about tweeting and not focusing on the Patriots playbook.  Now, I’m leaning toward siding with Bruschi.  Instead of finding ways around his lost bet so that he can stay in touch with the Twitter world, Ocho should be spending all — yes all — his free time trying to get caught up with the New England offense.  He has been a complete non-factor through the first five weeks of the season.  At some point, the Patriots are going to need him to contribute.
