Randy Gregory gets Cowboys tattoo

Former Nebraska star Randy Gregory did not slip nearly as far as he could have in the NFL Draft, and he has the Dallas Cowboys to thank for that. One way he is thanking the team is with a tattoo.

Gregory shared some photos of his new ink on Tuesday, and the artwork features the Cowboys’ star logo.

Gregory tested positive for marijuana at the scouting combine after reportedly failing two drug tests in college. He insists he is not addicted to weed, but some NFL teams were undoubtedly comparing his story to that of this NFL wide receiver.

During a recent radio interview, Gregory insisted he has a maturity problem but not a “weed problem.”

“I’m 22 years old but I think I carry myself real well and I think I need to carry myself a little bit better as far as decision making goes,” he told ESPN Radio, via Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News. “I think a lot of people are getting tied up in the weed and think it’s just a weed problem. I don’t think it’s a weed problem. I think it’s decision making. I think I’m immature. I’m definitely working on that. I want to prove everyone wrong and I want to do it with this team. I think this is the best team I can do that with.”

The Cowboys — after already signed one potential headache this offseason — can only hope Gregory grows up quickly.
