Dave Roberts promises Dodgers will finish at top of NL West

Dave Roberts

The Los Angeles Dodgers have not gotten off to a good start this season, but that’s not stopping Dave Roberts from having confidence in his club.

The Dodgers manager said on Sunday that his team would finish at the top of the NL West this season.

Dave Roberts: “When it’s all said and done, the Dodgers will be at the top of the division.”

— Andy McCullough (@McCulloughTimes) April 29, 2018

Roberts’ Dodgers entered Sunday with a 12-14 record, placing them seven games behind Arizona for first in the division. It’s still early in the season, but the Dodgers have not looked good while the Diamondbacks have been sharp. Factor in that Yasiel Puig is hitting the disabled list and Rich Hill has another problem with his finger, and things are just not lining up well for the Dodgers.
